What is Art Processors?

Art Processors was started in 2011 as a gamble, because risk-taking is in our DNA. Our first puzzle: how to completely transform a museum’s look and feel. We threw out wall labels and highbrow scholarly rhetoric, leveraged cutting-edge technology and a spirit of adventure, and gave visitors a new way of experiencing stories from the inside out. In the process, we invented our company.

Today, Art Processors is 90-people strong in Australia and the United States. We are a creative and engineering collective inventing experiential solutions for the cultural and tourism landscape. Our immersive experiences are enjoyed by people across the globe.

Our values

  • Respectful

We treat each other, ourselves, and the world around us with respect. People and human-centred work is at the core of who we are and what we do.

  • Conscious

We recognise that every action we take has an impact and strive to create an open, ethical, and eco-friendly workplace that makes a positive contribution for our team, clients, community and the environment.

  • Diverse and inclusive

We are dedicated to creating workplaces, technology and content that reflects the communities we serve. It makes sense that different viewpoints, backgrounds, strengths, abilities, and experiences make for better ideas and a culture where everyone can be their authentic self.

  • Collaborative

We believe that we don’t just work better together—collaboration is where we find the different, the intriguing, the new. A partnership approach is inherent in the way we work and we are stronger for it.

  • Enthusiastic and committed

We deliver creative excellence in everything we do and revel in the ups and downs of getting the job done. We see projects through to completion and beyond and are always looking for where we can do better.

  • Bold

We look for projects that are nearly impossible, plus a handful that are really easy. We believe there’s a solution to every problem. Our success—and much of the fun—lies in the challenge and in finding new ways of doing things.

How we hire

  1. 1Confirmation

After you apply and our talent acquisition lead has reviewed your application, we’ll get in touch via email to let you know if you’re through to the next round.

  2. 2Initial chat

This is a quick conversation with our talent acquisition manager. It’s an opportunity for you to learn more about the role and we’ll ask some questions about your experience and interest in Art Processors.

  3. 3Meet the team

We want you to meet as many future co-workers as possible. This way, you can get to know our people and the projects they’re working on. First up will be a chat about your skills, followed by a conversation about your values and ours. You can expect to meet between 2-3 people for up to an hour each.

Tip: The best way to prepare is to spend some time reflecting on your experiences, both at the places you’ve worked and outside of work, and the things you’ve done to get to where you are today. It’s a good idea to bring along your portfolio or samples of work relevant to the role.

  4. 4Getting to know you

We want to know more about how you work and how we can set you up for success at Art Processors. We’ll get in touch with two of your references to learn more about how we’ll get along as colleagues.
